About ArUco Markers

ArUco markers are square fiducial markers used in augmented reality and robotics applications. Each marker has a unique ID encoded in its binary pattern, making them easy to detect and identify.

Supported Dictionaries

  • ARUCO (1023 markers)
  • ARUCO_MIP_36h12 (250 markers)
  • AprilTag 16h5, 25h9, 36h11
  • ArUco 4x4, 5x5, 6x6, 7x7

Detection Output

  • Marker ID
  • 4 corner positions (x, y)
  • Center point
  • Rotation angle
  • Orientation (up/down/left/right)

Quick Start

  1. Go to the Generator and create a marker
  2. Print the marker or display it on screen
  3. Open the Detector and start your camera
  4. Point the camera at the marker to detect it
  5. View the JSON output in the console (F12)
